Child Support Calculator for Austin, Texas
People going through a divorce often have a lot of questions about child support. One of the questions we get asked most often is "How much will I have to pay in child support?" We put together this child support calculator to let you run some numbers to get an idea of what to expect.
To use this calculator, you'll need to come up with the monthly net income of the non-custodial parent. (The non-custodial parent is the parent that the children do not normally live with.) To determine your monthly net income, subtract federal income taxes, state income taxes, social security taxes, and union dues from your monthly gross income.
After you select the number of children, enter the monthly health insurance premium for the children and select the person that pays the insurance. Note: This calculator assumes that all of your children are living with one spouse and that you are not responsible for any other children in any other household.
Once you've entered all the appropriate information, click the Calculate button. If you'd like to start over, simply click the Clear button.
